The IPhone SE 2 Is Set! Early Next Year It Will Come Out
- Aug 03, 2017-
There has been a lot of talk about the next iPhone SE. According to the latest news, the iPhone SE 2 is scheduled to go on sale in the first quarter of 2018, with the plenum assembled in India and shipped to other countries.
Apple has been seeking to make iPhone devices locally available in India, as it sees India as the world's fastest-growing smartphone market, and it can reduce manufacturing costs. According to India's policy of the Goods and Services Tax, apple can offer up to 7.5% of the price of iphones and other products without paying a 10% import fee (BCD). That's a big draw for apple.
In may, apple started production in India. Apple and the Taiwanese ODM manufacturer wistron launched a small batch of iPhone SE production in bangalore. Before India set up a plant, the iPhone SE was assembled in China. The iPhone SE, which is said to be produced in India, is branded with the logo of the "manufacturer in India", which has been on the market since late may, and the 32GB model is priced at about $390.
As for the iPhone SE 2, the rumored configuration will be similar to the iPhone 7, just as the iPhone SE configuration is similar to the iPhone 6s. The machine will feature a 4.0-4.2-inch screen, built-in 2GB of storage, and a A10 dual-core processor running iOS 11, with 32GB and 128GB options. At the same time, the machine will have a 12 megapixel camera, a 5 million camera, and a second generation Touch ID sensor with a battery of 1700mAh.
The iPhone SE, originally released by apple in March 2016, has attracted a fair share of new and old users because of its small screen features and relatively low prices. More than a year later, many friends are expecting apple to bring updates to the iPhone SE, but there is a lot of disagreement about whether apple will actually launch a second iPhone SE. Add to that the focus of the market today on the 10th anniversary edition of the iPhone 8, and if apple does launch the iPhone SE 2, what will it do?
